"Go West" is a 1940 American comedy Western film starring the iconic Marx Brothers: Groucho, Chico, and Harpo. Directed by Edward Buzzell, the film follows the brothers as they head west to seek their fortune and end up entangled in a land dispute between a young couple and a crooked railroad executive. Expect the usual Marx Brothers antics: Groucho's witty insults, Chico's fast-talking schemes, and Harpo's chaotic slapstick.
While "Go West" may not be considered among the Marx Brothers' top-tier films like "Duck Soup" or "A Night at the Opera", it still delivers plenty of laughs and classic Marx Brothers humor. The film features musical numbers, including "You Can't Argue with Love" and "Ridin' the Range," and a memorable climax aboard a runaway train.
