One Million Years B.C. is a 1966 British adventure fantasy film directed by Don Chaffey. It stars Raquel Welch and John Richardson. Set in a prehistoric world where humans and dinosaurs coexist, the film follows Tumak (Richardson), who is expelled from his savage tribe and finds refuge with a more peaceful tribe. He falls in love with Loana (Welch), and together they face dangers from both dinosaurs and hostile tribes.
While not critically acclaimed, One Million Years B.C. was a box-office success, largely due to Raquel Welch's iconic fur bikini and the impressive special effects featuring stop-motion dinosaurs created by Ray Harryhausen. The film is known for its visual spectacle rather than its dialogue (there's very little!) and has become a cult classic, remembered for its unique depiction of prehistoric life.
