Sportsmen's Fishing Map of the United States and Neighboring Waters is a pictorial recreational map created by Ira Moss in 1957 and published by Shorewood Press. The map covers North America and neighbouring waters, combining geographic detail with colorful illustrations of game fish and notable fishing regions. Bright blue waterways contrast with lightly colored landmasses, while detailed depictions of fish species, coastal waters, lakes, and rivers transform the map into both a practical reference and an attractive decorative work. Its design reflects the growing popularity of sport fishing and outdoor recreation in postwar America. You are purchasing a beautiful piece of art. The image has been carefully digitally remastered, descreened maintaining the fidelity of the original vintage artwork. Different paper sizes have different aspect ratios. We always give priority to the work of the artist, so try whenever possible to not stretch/expand it, or do it minimally. This means that some paper sizes will have more or less margins on the sides of the artwork, depending on how the aspect ratio of the paper chosen size has in relation to the original aspect ratio of the piece of art. We offer it in Premium Matte paper and Museum Matte paper ✨PREMIUM MATTE-quality poster made on thick and long-lasting matte (uncoated) paper. Paper weight: 200 gsm / 80 lb. ✨MUSEUM-quality poster made on long-lasting matte (uncoated) archival paper. • Paper weight: 250 gsm / 110 lb. • 🚫Acid-Free: pH above 7 to prevent yellowing over time. This poster paper is more yellowish (off white) as 🚫no optical brighteners are used during production. This avoids color shifts with time. It has top archival quality. 💚We use Sustainable Paper: FSC-certified paper for sustainability. The print is sold without any framing. Some mockup images might show how the poster looks framed, so you can have a visual reference how it would look framed, but what is sold on this list is the image printed on the matte paper of your choice without any frame included. Not every size has an image attached to it as Etsy has a limitation of the number of images to be shown per product , and we offer many times more variations of different sizes, we also sometimes show how it looks framed or publish high resolution details of the artwork. This makes it not possible to depict every combination of paper and size, so the piece of art will be the same but more or less blank margins might surround it depending on the chose size. We have a professional printing partner with printing facilities in over 30 countries in the world. This allows fast shipping, consistent quality supervised by this partner and the avoidance of taxes and delays due to customs. 📏📐SIZES: When you choose the size, you will see that it has 2 measurements, one in the Metric System (cm) and one in the Imperial System (inches). They are very close but not identical If the print destination is in the United States or Canada you will receive the print with the inches value . If the destination is in any country of the rest of the world, you will receive the print in the cm value. For example, if you order a 50x70cm / 20x28". In the US or Canada you would receive a 20x28" print and in any other country in the world a 50x70cm print. Bear in mind that if you order from a metric system country, but your destination is the US or Canada you that destination will receive the print in the imperial system even if you ordered from a country with the metric system. That is because we work with local laboratories that in those two countries have the paper measures in inches. The same would be true if you order from the US/Canada to send to another place in the world. The destination would receive the equivalent size in cm. 📦 POSTAGE -All items are packaged and protected using strong poster tubes in order to mitigate any potential damage. 🕐 PREPARATION OF THE PRINTS: - Our Printing partner delivers the prints in most countries of the world. - Expect 2-4 day production time to prepare and print the Museum Grade Quality prints. 🚚 SHIPPING: - Once you place the order, you will get a timeframe when you can expect the arrival of the print. In most of the world it is only a few days after it has left the printing facility, but on rare occasions or on busy holidays that timing might get a little longer. The order will get a tracking number once sent, so you can follow the delivery process of the selected courier service depending on the country the order was placed. The mock-up pictures in this listing are there to see how it would look in a real environment., like a house or office. Sometimes, depending on the size of the poster and the aspect ratio, the picture might have none or a minor trimming from the original artwork to fit that aspect ratio. We carefully choose the available sizes, so they are as close as possible to the original painting or photograph proportional ratio. 🔺DISCLAIMER: Measurements of the selected print size purchase may vary slightly (+/- 2.5cm or 1 inch) due to supplier variations. Any comments, queries or suggestions are welcomed. We are confident we will be able to provide you a product with the highest quality at an affordable price.
