"The Man from Planet X" is a 1951 American science fiction film directed by Edgar G. Ulmer. The film stars Robert Clarke as John Lawrence, a journalist who is investigating the landing of a mysterious spaceship in the Scottish moors. Margaret Field and Raymond Bond co-star as Enid and Professor Elliot, who encounter the alien visitor first.
The film was a low-budget production, but it was praised for its atmospheric cinematography and suspenseful plot. "The Man from Planet X" is considered an early example of the science fiction genre and has influenced many later films.
