JOB by Alphonse Mucha, 1896, is an Art Nouveau advertising poster for Job cigarette papers. The lithograph features a sensuous woman with flowing black hair, stylized smoke, floral accents, and ornate lettering. Its elegant curves and decorative patterning made it one of Mucha’s most iconic commercial designs.
Alphonse Mucha was a Czech artist whose posters defined the Art Nouveau look of Belle Époque Paris. He blended graceful female figures, arabesque lines, rich color, and ornamental design into a highly recognizable style. His work transformed advertising into collectible fine graphic art.
