Tit for Tat is a 1935 comedy film starring the iconic duo, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Directed by Charley Rogers, this short film is actually a sequel to their earlier short, "Them Thar Hills." In "Tit for Tat," Stan and Ollie open a fix-it shop next door to a grocery store owned by a grumpy grocer (played by Charlie Hall). Their attempts to drum up business lead to a series of escalating pranks and mishaps, with hilarious consequences.
While not as widely known as some of their other films, Tit for Tat is a classic example of Laurel and Hardy's comedic genius. It was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film (Comedy) in 1935. If you're a fan of their work, it's definitely worth seeking out for a good laugh!
