"The Wizard of Oz" is a beloved 1939 American musical fantasy film produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Though primarily directed by Victor Fleming (who left to helm "Gone with the Wind"), it's forever linked with the iconic Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale. Alongside her, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, and Jack Haley charmed audiences as the Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and Tin Man respectively.
